Lidac AB was founded in 1985 and has been manufacturing a wide range of saw blades for electrical and pneumatic handheld machines. The company was located in Lidköping, Sweden. Since 1984, G-Man Tools has been marketing hand/bow saws and bow saw blades under the G-Man trade mark Production and office is located in own buildings in Edsbyn, Sweden.

On  December 1, 2008, G-Man Tools acquired Lidac, with exception of their building. Machinery and production were moved up to the G-Man facilities in Edsbyn in 2009.  This additional range of products, has made G-Man Tools a more interesting partner on the tool market.  The range with be marketed both under the G-Man and Lidac trade marks.
